The S.A.F.E. Act isn't just about compliance, it's a consumer law. Numerous portions of the Act describe the information consumers must receive, when they must have access to it and how your mortgage loan originators (MLOs) must provide it. Still, other portions of the Act details what steps MLOs must take in registering and what information they must provide not only to the consumer, but also on loan documents. This webinar will focus on institution and loan officer disclosures from the borrower's point of view as well as the steps the MLO must take to register and how they should interact with the borrower.
